Lunch Break: Jessica Biel As Jessica Rabbit

After the 1988 release of “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?”, every male teenager was left fantasizing about one thing: Roger’s sultry, red-headed wife, Jessica Rabbit,

Yes, for one year, a cartoon became the hottest woman on the planet. On paper, that may sound terribly depressing, but if you’ve seen Jessica, you’d understand why. I mean, she’s, more or less, every chauvinistic man’s ideal woman—curvy, tall, buxom and red-headed. What’s not to love?

Being the not-so-topical comedy show that it is, Saturday Night Live decided to bring Jessica Rabbit to life this past weekend, and she looked surprisingly a lot like Jessica Biel. Wait, it was Jessica Biel in a red wig and sparkly dress, no less.

In all honesty, this is exactly what I imagined a real-life Jessica Rabbit would look like, which is to say absolutely breathtaking from head to toe. And so, even if most of the men who saw SNL on Saturday don’t recognize Jessica Rabbit from the classic 80s film, I’m willing to bet that most will be fantasizing about the modern version for months to come.
