Based on the premise alone, you should already be laughing at the thought of hip-hop artist Lil’ Wayne attempting to out-think and out-word ABC anchor Charles Gibson in a rousing game of Scrabble. And it's for a good reason too: Lil' Wayne is hilarious, especially when he tries to bust out the word 'crankswagga' for double points.
Unless they're using the urban dictionary as a valid reference/source, I'm pretty sure Gibson should challenge 'crankswagga', because I don't think it has made it's way into Roget's Dictionary yet.
However, in time, I'm sure it will. But for now, Lil' Wayne will have to stick to words that don't use apostrophes, double consonants or substitute 'a' for 'er'.
Oh, and in case you're wondering, this clip comes from Jimmy Kimmel Live!, which, from what I've been told, is actually a pretty hilarious late-night talk show. And if there's any testament to that supposition, it's Lil' Wayne battling Charles Gibson.
