In college, you are what you wear. Sure they’re stereotypes, but sometimes stereotypes are true: Hipsters are the ones in the tight jeans, sorority girls are rockin’ the Uggs and frat guys wear… T-shirts?

Well, now frat guys can wear T-shirts not to show what they are, but what they once were. Follow that?

The Passion for Christ Movement has introduced the EX-series of shirts. As a disclaimer right now, I don’t mean to disrespect or mock Christianity. This is just something you have to see. These shirts are supposed to declare something “sinful” you have given up for God and all the rest of the world to see. There’s the Ex-Fornicator, the Ex-Atheist, Ex-Homosexual, Ex-Hypocrite, Ex-Hustler and so forth.

But the shirt causing the most stir is the Ex-Masturbator tee.

The PC4M website offers this by way of explanation:

Yeah we said it….Nobody talks about it, but most people have done it or are still doing it. It’s seems to be a rite of passage for both girls and guys into the world of sex. Some say masturbation is not a sin, some say that it is. But is it really okay in the eyes of God?

But while everyone’s all abuzz about this Ex-Masturbator shirt, a different tee, one that seems to have escaped notice, caught my eye. It’s the Ex-Slave shirt.

The website shares this description:

You name it we did it, or thought about it. We were slaves to our passions and pleasures. We knew that the lust, lying, hatred, selfishness and vanity had a grip on us. But one day God gripped us and the chains dropped. We are officially Ex-Slaves.

Slaves… to our passions and pleasures? Well, in that case, the shirt is very unclear.
