Oh how the mighty have fallen.
Darrel Arthur and Mario Chalmers were both starters on Kansas’ national championship team last year. They were both recruited by the NBA. And they were both set to make lots and lots of money.
And then they screwed it up.
The two were kicked out of the NBA’s rookie transition program for smoking pot and having women in their room.
One NBA rookie said that NBA commissioner David Stern was livid. Sources indicated that both players will be fined $20,000, could be suspended and will have to repeat the rookie transition program next year.
Okay, so they will be back, and they’ll still have the chance to make lots and lots of money.
But seriously, it’s a four day program. How hard is it to focus on the ball and not the bong?
