Martin Luther King Jr. Day: The Entire "I Have A Dream" Speech

On the eve of Inauguration Day, we pause to reflect back on the legacy of one man who helped to make it all possible: Martin Luther King Jr.

 

Nearly fifty years ago, Martin Luther King Jr., the impassioned leader of the Civil Rights Movement, helped reshape America by combating the racism that threatened to destroy the very ideals upon which this country was founded.

 

Speaking to nearly 250,000 civil rights supporters, Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his now-legendary “I Have A Dream” speech on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.

 

With his words, he inspired millions, altering the very course of American history.

 

Today, we remember the man, the legend and everything he taught us.

 

Tomorrow, we will celebrate the fruits of his legacy.
