John McCain appeared on The Tonight Show last night and he was funny. With the election now a week in the past, he was able to poke fun of himself and take jabs in stride. Perhaps it should be McCain not Sarah Palin (I repeat NOT Palin) that should be fielding offers in showbiz.
McCain joked about his post election life (“I sleep like a baby… sleep, cry, sleep, cry”) and why he lost (apparently no one from Arizona ever wins) while also paying tribute to servicemen in honor of Veteran's Day.
The sad part is that the interview makes you remember why anyone thought he was a good candidate in the first place, before all that crazy VP pick, angry meltdown, smear campaign stuff went down. Check out the highlights above and see for yourself.
