"The files are in the computer?" asked John McCain Derek Zoolander.
For some, *cough* McCain *cough*, the question may not be so far off the wall. A new Obama ad gives the Republican candidate a hard time for his complete lack of computer skills. To be fair, McCain himself told Yahoo news that he is illiterate and relies on his wife for all computer issues. What do you expect from a guy who took office in the Senate in 1982?
Let's reflect on 1982 a bit. It was the year that Flock of Seagulls became popular, the mullet was in (or so people claim), Rubik's Cubes provided hours of entertainment and Mr. T was livin' large. Oh and it was also well before today's college students were even born.
So is Obama right? Is McCain too out of touch to relate to young voters? Are we okay with having a president who doesn't know how to use a computer or even send an email?
If McCain wants to woo younger voters, he's gotta get with the Facebook age.
Fortunately, since this post itself is on the internet, McCain will probably never see it.

Now, if the Obama wants to continue to mock disabled war veterans, he is certrainly welcome to. Posted 09/13/2008 01:00 AMReply
