McCain/Palin MIGHT Visit Indiana

An article from the Indy Star claims someone from the GOP MIGHT finally recognize that they're losing in Indiana--a state that hasn't voted for a democratic presidential candidate since 1964 (when pretty much the entire country did, too).

"Sen. Lindsey Graham, the South Carolina Republican who is a close ally of Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain, announced Thursday night that McCain or his running mate, Palin, plan to pay Hoosiers a visit.

There are no details yet about where or when the visit would take place, according to the McCain campaign."

Since this god-awful presidential race began, Obama has visited the state 46 times (the last being on Wednesday to a massive crowd of 21,000 people at the Indiana State Fairgrounds). McCain has been here twice.

Which is probably why the latest polls all seem to be either tied, or stand with Obama leading by several points. This is a shocking thing in Indiana, at least to me. Example: when the last election rolled around, there was a girl printing and handing out cards that said "John Kerry Eats Babies" at my high school.

We don't like none a them goddamn liberals none round here.

So I'll be waiting with baited breath for McCain to show his sagging, waxy visage somewhere in the state. I just can't wait to see that creepy-ass smile in person (I have a feeling it'll give me nightmares for months...). Or, better yet, should Palin come I'll actually get a chance to meet in person the people who support and believe in her (because I have yet to meet one).
