Meghan McCain: Still Hot, Still Not Talking About Sarah Palin

Here’s a story about two things I’ve missed dearly, Meghan McCain (my 2008 election crush) and Sarah palin (my 2008 source for 90% of my stories).

The young Ms. McCain has taken to blogging again, and she seems to be a bit relieved she’s not first daughter. Now she’s just writing about her Fiji vacation and Inaugural Dinner ticket, rather than how awesome her dad is.

But there’s one thing she’s still not talking about, as the Monday Morning Clacker discovered:

If you could change one thing about the election what would it be?

"Nothing, it was the most liberating experience of my life and I am such a different person now than I was when I started the blog. It was truly an invaluable experience and I sit here today as an incredibly proud daughter and member of the Republican Party."

So, no comment on the selection of Governor Sarah Palin as Senator McCain's running mate?
"Sarah Palin is the only part of the campaign that I won't comment on publicly."

Wowzers. All she had to do was give the stock line of “Sarah was great, it was a tough climate for Republicans, etc, etc.” but that “no comment” says more than any actual comment would have. During the campaign Meghan professed her undying love for Palin and her family, but now it would appear that she’s had a change of heart.

I think that they should wrestle in some sort of pudding to sort out their differences. Anyone, anyone?
