After her father’s death, Cinderella became her stepfamily’s slave. She spent most of her days cleaning up after them and cooking for them – apparently that kind of slave labor work ethic is what Disneyland expects of its staff. This morning, the stories poured in when the employees of Anaheim's pride, Disneyland went to strike to protest their less-than-magical working conditions.

The employees all worked at three of the four Disneyland resorts and were protesting the unaffordable healthcare and unjust wage systems. About 2,300 maids, bell hops, cooks and dishwashers from The Disneyland Resort, The Grand Californian and Paradise Pier were all being affected by Disney’s Cruella-like cruelty. 

In an attempt to stick it to the man, the employees made an hour-long march towards Disneyland's gates decked out in Disney duds (for those less aware of Disney culture, that means dressed as Disney characters). Thirty two employees were arrested after the Ana-mayhem begun, they were all handcuffed and taken downtown (and I don't think that's Disneyland's Downtown). 

With the insanely escalated prices in Disney, you have to wonder where all that money is going to. Hopefully Disney will figure out its squabbles soon otherwise instead of being the happiest place on earth, they'll be the greediest place on earth.
