I’m just a lowly journalism major so I need a little help. Biology whizzes out there: What is going on in the animal kingdom these days?
 

Mutant creatures are popping up all over the place with little explanation. First, we had the Montauk Monster mania. Then came the 44-pound cat, Princess Chunk, discovered in New Jersey. And now, a young boy in Arizona caught a freaky fishgator.
 

We may not know where they come from, and we don’t really care. What we really want to know is:
