Nickelback Blames Guitar Hero for Lack of New Bands

Chad Kroeger is of course, my hero, so therefore I hang on his every word. So that’s why I recently threw my Guitar Hero out my window, because if Kroeger demands it, well then I’m bound to comply.

"So kids: Start rock bands. Set down the Guitar Hero, learn how to play an actual guitar and start a band, because it's hard to find more bands to put a solid rock-and-roll package together, to get out there. It's getting harder and harder, but I think we've done it."

But seriously, overlooking the fact that taking music advice from Nickelback is like taking weight loss advice from this guy, he probably is right. I got all inspired to re-teach myself the guitar after five-starring the first set list on Expert, but when I picked up the real thing, I quickly found that the skills did not translate. I quickly said “**** this” and mounted the thing back on my wall, and proceeded to play Freebird for the 10,000th time.
