No More Parties At The FIJI House

The boys of Phi Gamma Delta at University of Georgia are getting a slap on the hand. After a crazy party back in April, the Phi Gamma Delta's were caught admitting underage students to the party and serving them alcohol.

After careful consideration, the University is putting the boys on probation from now until June 2009. The University usually allows the fraternity one parent event, an alumni event and five highly anticipated social events and tailgates per year. This upcoming year, the frat will only be allowed the parent event and the alumni event.

President Kyle Maloney has signed the resolution and the probation will be active immediately. On top of being on party-patrol lockdown, the FIJI boys will also have to come up with a risk management strategy for their social events and host a risk management program for the other IFC chapters on “what they’ve learned.” Because it just wasn’t enough that they’ve had their partying privileges revoked now they have to do a show & tell session for the other frats.
