Two boots on 3rd Street and Avenue A is adjacent to Pioneer Theater and sells some of the best Sicilian slices possible. For $2.50, the piece is huge and incredibly fresh. A lot of the time the pies are just coming out of the oven and when they havent, TwKoronet's is by far the best pizza place in the city, but it is, however, on 111th and Broadway. This is a perfect location for Columbia University students but it makes it harder for NYUers to indulge in their enormous, monster slices for only $2.50. SerDecorated for Halloween, Two Boots has a really comfortable seating area and a really neighborhood-y feel to it. Most pizza places are in-and-out but Two Boots invites you to sit and talk to other patrons - often a very young and friendly crowd.Una Pizza is merely a myth, for only great things have ever been said about their slices, but the hours in which they open are perfect mostly for late night drunk snacks after having gone out, or even going out just to get a slice. Apparently rather greasEast Village Pizza has a really fun staff that often remember exact orders and will even offer up slices of pepperoni to hungry puppies. Going in to EVP is just a guaranteed fun experience, not to mention their specialty slices are superb. The plain pieceCucina de Pesce is a more upscale option for Italian food but the place has developed a really strong neighborhood following and the prices are reasonable. Even so, the food is great and though they serve handmand gourmet pies, for someone with another taJoe's on St. Marks and Bowery is probably the most popular NYU slicery. Easy to access and hugely delicious, most students have been here at least once, if not dozens of times. Joe's is reliable and delicious and definitely warrants this attention but theSal's Pizza on Avenue A isnt worth going to but is 100% worth ordering from. They have great deals on whole pies, and the deliver super fast. Everything comes hot and they even have other great Italian options like pasta and garlic knots and dozens of othViva Pizza on 2nd Avenue is the only place around NYU (there is a second location on Broome, it seems) to get great Vegan slices, totally juicy and fresh and apparently no one would ever know its not real cheese and its not real meat. Healthier than a norAt Viva's, the slices dont look meager or meek the way a Vegan slice of pizza may sound, instead the pies are big and juicy, perhaps juicer than most anywhere else.

Its a constant battle, no matter who you are, as to where to get the best pizza around NYU - not including the dining halls - so here are some of the better options, including Joe's on St. Marks, Sal's on Avenue A, Two Boots on 3rd Street, East Village on 1st Avenue, and more...
