Obama, McCain, or Getting Drunk: What Are You Doing Tonight, JMU?

Obama, McCain, or Getting Drunk: What Are You Doing Tonight, JMU?

Tonight at 8pm, the first presidential debate will set sail on probably every network on TV. Obama fans will watch glued to the television with Bob Dylan and John Lennon's sweet melodies in the background while holding up "CHANGE" signs. While McCain fans will probably hold up American flags with their guns by their side for protection in case a riot breaks out mid-debate.

How you plan to spend your time this evening reflects who you are as a person and an American. People will ask you if you watched the debates last night and judge you by your answer. You didn't watch--you must be stupid. You watched for the entire time without a bathroom break--you must be a loser. Ok, I'm exaggerating a tad but how DO you plan to spend this evening (and we can't judge you because it's an anonymous poll so rest assured)

I'm going to take a shot every time one of the candidates say the word "economy" and hope I make it through the first 20 minutes without passing out.

I'm going to watch the first 15 minutes, then go out and take advantage of my rights as an American and get drunk.

I'm not watching at all. Who are McCain and Obama, anyway?? Do they go to JMU?

I'm going to watch the entire thing then watch the post-commentary on C-SPAN and CNN.
