The cheap shots at Rich Rodriguez and Michigan keep coming in from all angles, this time from an (obviously qualified) High School senior from Grosse Pointe, Michigan. Tight-end Reid Fragel spoke out about Michigan recruiting after making a verbal commitment to Ohio State. He was considering Michigan State, who he feels has done a better job of locking up in-state recruits. He said that because Michigan is looking south to states like Florida, rather than scouting here in Michigan, they are being disrespectful to the in-state prospects.
Let’s back-track for a second here, this guy is going to OSU. Where the f*ck does he come off talking about respecting in-state recruitment when he’s going to school out of the state? How are Michigan recruiting efforts in states other than their own any different than Ohio State recruiting players from Michigan? Quit whining like a little b*tch because Michigan didn't have any interest in recruiting you. They have far better scholarship options in other states than to give it to some 3-star gump TE who feels he should automatically get one because he lives nearby. Reid Fragel, keep your mouth shut until you actually decide to be something of significance, not some high school punk on his period.
