The Olympics rake in the world's best athletes to compete for international recognition, a few medals and even a little money. With the Ivy Leaguers actively producing great olympians - one has to wonder who is better than who.
BWOG is reporting the US Men's Fencing Team won a silver medal for saber and Columbia's own alum James Williams was on the silver medal-winning team.
The Daily Pennsylvanian is telling us that the US Eight Women's Row Team was awarded a gold medal and Susan Francia was representing Penn pride on the boat.
So who's it going to be -- the second-rate silver medalist from Columbia or the gold medalist from Penn? You decide! But at the end of the day, gold will always beat silver (that and the picture of the Women's Row Team up top means Francia has won this battle).
