Cramming for a huge midterm in Bird Library, my group and I were distracted as we watched Otto prancing around the first floor. He scampered from the computer clusters to the individual seating areas and then I saw him coming towards my table. I looked up and saw him standing right in front of me. He grabbed an empty seat and started mocking the people in my study session: patting one guy’s head and making loud, obnoxious noises. He then left, onto his next victims. What I want to know is who is this anonymous person and why is it necessary to interrupt studying on a random weekday night? I understand school spirit, don’t get me wrong—GO ORANGE!—but honestly, no one needs a faceless fruit making rounds around the library in attempts to ignite some sort of lackluster spirit the administration apparently feels SU has. Leave it for the Dome, Otto.
