Penn State Club Gets Their Own Show On A&E
There are plenty of clubs to join on campus if you're looking for some extra-curricular activity. You've got the engineering club (that sounds like a blast), all the frats and sororities (can someone please write a Johnny Quest-esque post about them at PSU?) or maybe the College Dems or Republicans (yea, probably not). But only one club is modeled after Scooby Doo episodes ... The Penn State Paranormal Research Society. Oh yea, and they have a TV show on A&E this December.

So, PRS studies things like ghosts and other paranormal activity. Kind of like GhostBusters, but without the proton packs (we hope). According to their website, the new show, called Paranormal State (get it?), is going to focus on "hauntings, poltergeists, psychics and even demonic hauntings/possession."

OK, we try to be snarky here at OTR, but actually this is pretty cool. Are any other colleges out there studying paranormal activity? No? Just tasering students huh?
