Jennifer Hopka is a Playboy reject who now attends nursing school at Midlands Tech and is about to appear on The Amazing Race with her boyfriend Preston McCarny. For those of you who have been oblivious to reality TV over the last decade, The Amazing Race pits teams against each other in a race around the world with unforeseen challenges along the way. One at a time, the teams are eliminated, just like in any other reality television program. Unlike other programs though, the winners will receive one million dollars in prize money. Not too shabby. Hell, I would take half of that.

Or I’d take some more photos of Jennifer Hopka half naked. The South Carolina native tried for a shot at Playboy six years ago. Somehow, she didn’t get published though, despite her tight, tanned body, I mean, luxurious blonde head of hair. Now, I would not mind getting a little sprain or cut requiring stitches to get some treatment from that nursing school hotness.

Close to 11 million people likely will see Irmo native Jennifer Hopka on the CBS reality show “The Amazing Race” next month.

That's three times as many as would have seen her if she had made it into Playboy six years ago.

They just won't be seeing as much of her.
In 2003, the now 26-year-old Midlands Tech nursing student was flown to the Playboy Mansion in L.A. to take part in the search for the 50th Anniversary Playmate.

“It was one of the best times of my life,” the Dutch Fork High School graduate said during a phone interview with her “Amazing Race” partner and boyfriend, Preston McCamy. “I made a lot of new friends, and it was an experience that so many girls, and probably guys, would love to have, and I was a part of it.”

Thousands of girls were invited to compete for five top spots. Hopka posed for a centerfold picture that has never published. She does appear in the “Playboy - The Ultimate Playmate Search” DVD.

Okay, so it’s important to have goals in life. My new goal? Track down the “Playboy – The Ultimate Playmate Search” DVD.  I mean, I really want to see Hopka having one of the best times of her life. And if that doesn’t work, well then, hell, I could put up with a few episodes of The Amazing Race.
