Police are on the hunt for the vandal who stole Joe Paterno’s glasses… off his statue. Sometime between Sunday and Monday, the bronzed frames were cut off of the 7-foot sculpture of the couch outside Beaver Stadium.
The glasses are a trademark for JoePa, making their absence all the more upsetting.

Just look how angry Paterno is about the whole thing.
Unfortunately, there are no leads. Police noticed the damage, but are basically hoping someone contacts them with information about the guilty party.
In the meantime, the school says it will replace the glasses. It’s unclear how much the project will cost, but the boost to morale will be priceless. A JoePa without his glasses just isn’t JoePa.
To monster who did this: You know who you are and I hope you can live with the guilt. Michigan fans, I’m looking at you.
