Inauguration Day may have come and gone, but media pundits—ourselves included—simply cannot shut up about it.

Today, the news nugget that has everyone buzzing is the not-so-shocking revelation that Barack Obama wore a bulletproof suit to all the proceedings.

Yes, in addition to be a harbinger of change [READ: the anti-Bush], Obama is a bulletproof man with style. I can think of nothing more badass than a newly elected president that is willing to walk in the open without fear simply because, well, he cannot be hurt.

Of course, the cynical commentators—Brother Bannon included—are quick to point out that his head is still vulnerable. To them, I ask, “How do you know?”

I propose that it is, but if it’s not, then I fully expect Obama to deflect gunshots with his cufflinks.
