I'll be the first to admit, I'm usually a bit on the pessimistic side when it comes to sports at Maryland. Don't get me wrong, I'm the biggest Terps fan around, I've just been dissapointed one too many times already.
But, finally, I bring you good news. According to TurtleSportsReport.com, St. Frances shooting guard Sean Mosley has been accepted to Maryland "based on a review of his newly improved transcript."
Mosley, rated the No. 41 player in Class of 2008, was unsure whether he would be able to attend the University because of poor grades.
So what if his "newly improved transcript" is because he probably took classes like "Basketball 101" or Math: How to Add and Subtract." If you hadn't noticed, our team could use all the help it can get.

Stumble It

You may be correct in your assessment of how Sean Mosley qualified, but since you admitted that you don't KNOW, why are you slandering the kid's effort by speculating. In light of all the turmoil surrounding the Maryland program, I give Sean credit for not reneging on his commitment. Give the guy a break. Posted 07/12/2008 1:51 PMReply
