An exciting new addition to the massive pool of student organizations at Purdue is the Freerunning Club.  If you're unfamiliar with "freerunning," worry not, Wikipedia is here to help.

"Free running is a physical art, in which participants (freerunners) attempt to pass all obstacles in their path in a smooth and fluid way. Free runners interact with their environment using movements such as vaulting, jumping, somersaults and other acrobatic movements, creating an athletic and aesthetically pleasing way of moving. It is commonly practised at gymnasiums and in urban areas that are cluttered with obstacles."

So basically, if you see students on campus doing flips off of walls, poles, benches, and what not, they're most likely a freerunner.

The club members practices on safe padded gym floors, and the president claims people can do back flips after the first practice.

The callout for the club is in two weeks, so start gearing up if you're now inspired. Check out the Facebook group for more information.

If you'd rather watch, use the YouTube-famous "Parkour" video as your guide. Damn.
