According to a Russian tabloid, Russian President Vladimir Putin is planning to divorce his wife for 24-year-old ex-Olympic gymnast Alina Kabayeva (pictured above). Based on these photographs alone, one can safely assume that Putin fancies flexible women. Who doesn’t, though?

While Putin vehemently denies the allegations, the newspaper that published the story was mysteriously closed last week leaving little doubt about the story’s validity. I guess there’s no freedom of the press in Russia, huh?

This sort of government censorship is something that strikes fear into the hearts of journalists (and bloggers) everywhere. Imagine if this sort of censorship were to happen in the US. Every newspaper that reported on the Eliot Spitzer scandal last month would have been shutdown. That's a frightening thought.

Thankfully, OTR contributors and readers, you don’t have to contend with that here. So, by all means, please continue to post pictures of scantily clad women and your opinions on the latest political mishaps of the world.
