For those of you living in a cave, or just allergic to Palin stories, the much-talked about governor of Alaska had her personal Yahoo e-mail account hacked into yesterday and all of her personal data, including photos, contacts and more, was reprinted on Gawker, as well as other blogs. For details on what was found, see the above gallery.

The FBI and the Secret Service launched a formal investigation which may have led them right to the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.

But the plot thickens. It’s not just any UT student the government is seeking. It is democrat and State Rep. Mike Kernell’s 20-year-old son David.

In the midst of ever-evolving information, The Tennessean is regularly updating their story, with the latest version starting:

State Rep. Mike Kernell confirmed Thursday that his son, a University of Tennessee-Knoxville student, is at the center of heated Internet discussion into the hacking of the personal e-mail of vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

For other UT students, beware if you are engaged in any sort of illegal behavior. The feds are coming, the feds are coming!
