Once upon a time, a guy and a girl had sex. The girl had herpes and didn’t tell the guy, so he got mad and put her name and face on the internet. And so the STD website was born.
The man is Oregon resident Cyrus Sullivan, and his new website is garnering a lot of controversy in the area. The plan is to make a database of people with STDs, with all their info posted online. So far, only six people are on the site (including probably the most pissed off ex EVER), but everyone else on the site are celebrities and porn stars that he’s looked up on Wikipedia. Oh Pam Anderson has Hepatitis C? I’ll be sure to remember that the next time she asks to have sex with me.
The real problem is that what if someone goes up on the site who doesn’t have an STD. If you’re kind of whorish, you may not know who gave you something, and posting a guess online might tarnish someone’s Google search forever.
So Cyrus Sullivan, I’d consider re-thinking your STD website, because now, shouldn’t you be on it? I’ve heard a rumor you have herpes.

After experiencing this first hand I decided to invent the site to prevent this from happening to others since a lot of people have ended up like me.
I am also listed on the site as carrier # 98. I was originally doing this anonymously, but I decided if I were to promote it with my face that I would allow myself to be on it. So I told the reporter if I were reported I would not delete it. She never aired that statement, so I had to go on the KGW comment section to say that and sure enough I was reported and true to my word it is still there. Posted 11/07/2008 03:40 AMReply
Because of the overwhelming reactions of people about the site I have created a blog with sections designed for people to post their opinion about the site, comment on any person listed (this can give someone listed a venue to refute the claims about them and help get the ball rolling if info is false to find who’s responsible), and to share any STD related stories.
All stories are subject to approval and all comments positive or negative will be approved unless they contain excessive profanity (ex: I f*cking hate your f*cking site), advertising (ex: check out this other website), threats (ex: take the site down or I will chop off your balls), or is irrelevant to the topic (ex: Jack and Jill fell down the hill). This blog is intended for constructive discussion. Posted 11/07/2008 03:41 AMReply
The policy for handling complaint has been improved. Under the old policy anyone wrongfully listed would have to make a complaint and wait for the site to receive clean test results for any change to be made to the information in the database. Now whenever a complaint is made by someone claiming to be wrongfully listed the following will be added to the profile in question:
*Administrator note: This person or someone claiming to be this person has contacted www.stdcarrirs.com and stated that all or some of the information listed is not true. As a result this profile is under investigation. Comments about this profile (if any) can be found at http://stdcarriers.blogspot.com. Posted 11/07/2008 03:45 AMReply
