Steve Carell Vs. Stephen Colbert In "Even Ste(v)phen"

Do you know what happens when two famous comedians with larger-than-life egos interview one another? Hilarity -- and a segment called "Even Ste(v)phen."

Last night, Steve Carell, star of The Office, joined his longtime friend Stephen Colbert on the Colbert Report for a nice, friendly chat about the successes (and failures) of each comedian throughout their respective careers.

After about thirty seconds, the friendly exchange became heated, when Carell pointed out Colbert's apparent discomfort with interviewing him. And, it took a turn for the undeniably awesome once the childish bickering, name calling, and a mock fight began. In short, it was probably the classiest interview Colbert has ever given -- and one of the funniest.

Ultimately, the two men found peace by blaming their insecurities on Jon Stewart, the man that they agreed "held them back while kick-starting their careers." Naturally, this triggered a "surprise" appearance by the host of the Daily Show, who begged Carell and Colbert to divulge their secret for escaping the Daily Show studios.

God bless the Colbert Report.
