West Lafayette was greeted with its first taste of what an Indiana winter can sometimes feel like. One must remember it’s only the end of October and last week it was still relatively warm, but Monday it was cold, windy, and even a little snow by the end of the evening.  Considering the remarkably mild fall we’ve been having, it was a bit of a shock on the way to the bus stop Monday morning.

Another familiarity with Indiana weather is how inconsistent it is, and with that said, no fear West Lafayette, we’re supposed to be back in the 60’s by week’s end. Many are excited to have a warm weekend, although most cannot remember a Halloween with 60 degree weather, but personally, I’m excited it will be warm and a not-so-chilly Halloween night, although the annual Halloween parties and bonfires may not feel the same this year. I will definitely not be complaining if it s warm, especially after seeing snow on Monday!
