The following observation comes from Perez Hilton, which makes it more than a bit questionable, but we can't help but wondering...

Mr. Hilton points to a horrible spell of god-awful luck that has stricken 3 of the 5 stars of The (phenomenal) Dark Knight Movie.

1. Heath Ledger's tragic death at age 28.

2. Christian Bale's alleged abuse towards his own mother.

3. Morgan Freeman's car accident, in which the actor suffered a serious broken arm and shoulder, among other injuries, and is under hospital care.

And one more that P.Hilt missed..

4. The special effects technician who died on a test run following a stunt vehicle believed to be the Batmobile during filming in the UK.

Now I'm not one to jump to conclusions, but this seems more than a little eerie.
