The Golden Globe Nominations for 2009 have been released, and the Dark Knight is hardly anywhere to be found. No Best Picture, No Best Director, No Screeplay. Its to bad its not nominated. I think the only thing that is an abomination on this list is the fact that Mama Mia got 2 nominations. It was horrible. Meryl Streep is normally great but even she did not shine in this film. Posted 12/11/2008 7:55 PMReply

I want to know what criteria was used to decide to leave out Dark Knight. I am trying to be cordial about this but I am starting to freak out about the golden globes' white-collar, enlightened, arrogance that does not acknowledge "great" movies like Dark Knight that depict the reality of a dualistic good vs.evil world in a brilliant artistic way.
