Chocolate chip cookies, a fresh-baked pie and a cake with rainbow sprinkles: Separately, they’re awesome desserts; together, they’re the ultimate diabetic nightmare of sugar-tastic deliciousness in your mouth.

Through the witchcraft known to many as ‘baking’, Cakespy.com’s Jessie Oleson did the unthinkable, combining three tried-and-true classic desserts into one. The result is what you see here: a pie filled with chocolate-chip cookie dough and topped with a layer of birthday cake mix.

On paper, this sounds like a recipe—pun intended—for disaster, one that can only end with you sitting on the toilet for several hours pondering the error of your gluttonous ways. However, if you follow Oleson’s instructions carefully, you’ll not only end up with a perfect blend of the “holy trinity of baked goods” but a snack that’s actually edible and delicious.

If seeing is believing, then I think Oleson can safely call me believer… once I figure out how to work a stove properly.
