Why should America have all the fun of hot cheerleaders? Sure, we may have the highest cheerleader per-capita ratio of any country out there, but we forget that other countries have gorgeous girls capable of doing the splits and cheering their team to victory. Here are eight countries that have followed in the United States' footsteps:

• Brazil is the hotness capital of the world, so of course they would adopt American-style cheerleading.

• Australia's Melbourne Storm cheerleaders adopted the Catholic schoolgirl look.

• Imported cheerleaders into India for the IPL cricket league caused a bit of controversy for being too sexy.

• China shocked the world when they debuted a whole host of gorgeous cheerleaders at the Beijing Olympics this summer. 

• Mexican baseball cheerleaders heat things up south of the border.

• Not to be outdone by China, Taiwan has their own brigade of hot cheerleaders.

• Argentina’s cheerleading outfits are so scandalous they’d only be allowed in South America.

• Spain brings the heat, representing all of Europe in the UN of cheerleading.
