UA Delegate Harbors Clinton Delusions

From August 25th to August 28th, two University of Arizona students, Chris Campas and David Martinez, will represent their congressional districts at the Democratic National Convention. The two are avid Clinton supporters, but the mentally stable Martinez plans to vote Obama at the convention for unity’s sake. Campas , however, has told the Daily Wildcat that even if Clinton cannot possibly win, he plans to vote for her, saying, “That's what I was elected to do, and that's what I intend to do. I don't think (the primary election) produced a winner. It just produced someone who was a little more ahead. I think that Senator Clinton should be acknowledged for her hard work." Perhaps I’m missing something, but I was always under the impression that a “winner” is one who is “more ahead.” Then again, maybe Campas was too busy spelling out “I Heart Hill” with Lithium pills to listen to her endorsement speech of Barack Obama in which she urged supporters to “take our energy, our passion and our strength and do all we can to help elect Barack Obama ... [by] working as hard for Barack Obama as you have for me."
