UConn Student Arrested for Allegedly Selling Marijuana From His Dorm Room

The fall semester has begun, and students around the country are wasting little time getting arrested.

Last Sunday, a University of Connecticut staff member received an anonymous tip that 19-year-old sophomore Keith R. Cameron was selling drugs from his dorm room in Buckley Hall North. When the police investigated Cameron’s room, they found several ounces of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Sounds more like your typical college dorm than a drug cartel’s hideout…

That said, the Courant reports:

Police questioned several people and then Cameron, who allowed police to search the room. He also gave a statement to police, but insisted he was not dealing to strangers but sharing the marijuana with some friends, although he said he "might ask for a few dollars here and there to help cover his cost," according to a police report.

Police said they recovered slightly more than 4 ounces of marijuana in 101 small bags. Cameron insisted the marijuana was for his personal use — one bag a day. Police, however, charged him with sale of illegal drugs, sale of a controlled substance, possession of more than 4 ounces of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

In other words, police saw right through his thin veil of marijuana-infused lies.

Note to all the collegiate stoners out there: “personal use” of an illegal substance is still a crime. It may be a lesser charge than drug-trafficking, but it’s still going to land you in jail. And so, you’re probably better off staying quiet before your lies are used against you in a court of law.

Put him in prison NOW!!!! Society will be better off with all drug dealers in prison and not a soft prison...hard labor!!!...all drug dealers!!! Start with ALCOHOL and TOBACCO first, then hit the PHARMACEUTICALS. Stop the TV ads for "Ask your Dr. about", this is just more mind control elements to get you to accept ... KILL DRUG DEALERS AND USERS! NO DRUGS!!! If you get sick, then you deserve it!....

Sounds really stupid, doesn't it....That's why this young man is facing the wrath of the drug warriors, most likely a felony for distribution. The police will rejoice with another notch in their plan for domination of the population...it's just plain ignorance and stupidity on the part of the "drug free" crowd...and we fall for it! Ignorance rules over logic. It's the democrat and republican way! "Throw more people in prison...see we're hard on crime. We'll protect you!" No, you want to control me, my thoughts (1984) and my actions (Brave new World)!
Release the soft drug prisoners! Stop the Gestapo raids on legitimate businesses trying to work within the law.

Look up William Randolph Hearst and John Dupont to see why marijuana (and specifically hemp) is illegal. I think you'll be very surprised. The cold dead hand of the robber barron still holds onto your throat.
