As I mentioned earlier, our beloved Testudo is once again making his way through the ranks of the Capital One Mascot Bowl. Last time Testudo was in the tournament he fell short in the Championship Bout to Butch T. Cougar of Washington State University. I don't know what that was all about, but it's time to redeem ourselves - for the sake of Testudo.

The tournament has been a close one - all six mascots making the playoffs have 6 wins and 5 losses. Seeds were given based on amount of total votes, putting Testudo at #6 and North Dakota State's Thundar at #1, being seperated by only 11,000 votes. We started the playoffs right with an upset over #3 Boise State's Buster Bronco and now move on to the Semi-Finals to face the #1 Thundar.

The Terrapin against the Bison - two unlikely foes in the wild; but this isn't the wild... it's a commercialized internet mascot voting competition. So throw your preconceived notions about man and beast out the door because this is the real deal.
