University Of Minnesota Goes For World Record For Most Flu Shots

Though this borderline creepy promo video may scare off potential participants with its depictions of a giant gopher running around campus stabbing students with needles (I swear I had a nightmare like this once, it wasn't pretty), the University of Minnesota is attempting to get in the Guinness Book of World records for most flu shots today. The University has to go above the current record of 3,271 shots in one day, and is encouraging everyone to come down and get stuck by large scary animals.

The free flu shots are available at Northrop Auditorium and in Java City in the Moos Tower on the East Bank, the Hubert H. Humphrey Center on the West Bank, and at the Student Center on the St. Paul campus. Anytime between 8 AM and 5 PM today, stop by one of these four locations Boynton Health Services has set up to get your flu shot. Check Boynton's guidelines and make sure you're eligible for the influenza vaccination.

If the University doesn't reach their goal, I'm afraid they may let the evil giant rodent in a mad scientist labcoat out again... He has an insatiable bloodlust and will stop at nothing to violate you with a syringe. This is a promise, not a threat.
