U.S. News Releases Rankings... Let The Whining Begin

It’s that time of the year again. Nothing says the end of summer quite like U.S. News and World Report releasing its annual college rankings list.

Check out the Top 20 below:

1. Harvard University
2. Princeton University
3. Yale University
4. MIT, Stanford
6. Cal Tech, University of Pennsylvania
8. Columbia University, Duke University, University of Chicago
11. Dartmouth college
12. Northwestern University, Washington University in St. Louis
14. Cornell University
15. John Hopkins University
16. Brown University
17. Rice University
18. Emory University, University of Notre Dame, Vanderbilt University

These rankings are probably pretty important when it comes to applicants choosing what schools to apply to. But the best part about the list? Definitely the reaction it gets. Here’s just a little taste of the comments already flooding the U.S. News website

I AM TIRED OF THIS COUNTRY ALWAYS PICKING A NUMBER AND JUGING EVERYBODY OVER IT.

RATINGS ARE TERRIBLE

you guys are just jealous that your colleges didn't rank as high or ranked at ALL on the list! there's a reason why the best colleges are ranked AS the best colleges and it's because only the best and brightest students are able to attend. and by the way, learn how to spell before bad mouthing the top universities in the country. it kind of makes you look ridiculous =]

The University of Tennessee is one of the BEST Colleges EVER. if you dont believe me check it out, www.utk.edu. it is awesome. so just take you list of private schools and go make fun of someone else somewhere else.
