Warrant Obtained for Killer of USC Student Bryan Richard Frost

A warrant has been issued to search an apartment owned by the suspect believed to have stabbed and killed a USC student this week. Bryan Richard Frost was just a few blocks from campus when he was stabbed and killed after an altercation ensued between him and his killer.

KTLA reports:

A search warrant was authorized Thursday afternoon for an apartment believed to be linked to the fatal stabbing of a student at USC.

23-year-old Bryan Richard Frost was stabbed to death Thursday morning while walking in the University Park area near campus, authorities said…

Frost was stabbed in the chest, according to investigators. The suspect, said to be in his 20s, fled on foot.

The student later died of his injuries at a hospital.

In the hours after the stabbing, USC officials text-messaged thousands of staff members and students informing them of the killing.

The Los Angeles Civil Rights Association is asking the community to break the code of silence and cooperate with authorities to bring Frost's killer to justice.

The deadly attack comes nearly two weeks after two female students were sexually assaulted near the campus. The violence has prompted demands for improved security around the campus.

Bryan Richard Frost will be sadly missed. It is hoped that the investigation will progress quickly.
