What Do Amber Tamblyn and Birth Control Have in Common?

Amber Tamblyn doesn't have much in common with birth control, but she did accompany some proactive college students to lobby a new bill to counteract the Deficit Reduction Act, which passed in 2005. Tamblyn decided to become part of the lobby group because of popularity the subject's on message boards and other user-generated content areas.

The Deficit Reduction Act prevents colleges from receiving a massive discount on birth control from pharmaceutical companies. As a result, college students have been choosing between sustenance and birth control. The new bill will reinstate the discount for college health clinics.  

The students met with Senator Debbie Stabenow, who recently experienced public humiliation when her husband admitted to exchanging cash for oral gratification, to push for the bill to pass this summer.

The bill is sure to prevent hanger abortions of the future. Desperate times call for desperate measures, if college students cannot afford $35 dollars per month for birth control, then it is plausible to assume they will be unable to afford abortions.
