We may not beat Ohio State this year, we may not beat Ohio State next year, but when we finally do, I’m sincerely begging you, do NOT be like Michigan State. Printing off thousands of T-shirts and putting up billboard ads on I-96 talking sh*t is beyond ridiculous for one victory. We’ve lost to Ohio State the past 4 times we’ve played them and 6 of the last 7 games. Having a ridiculous celebration when we do beat them will only mean that it’s something that wasn’t supposed to happen. We’ve had a much more storied and competitive past with OSU compared to MSU, but in recent history they have been completely dominant.

When we beat OSU, act like it’s something that was expected. Don’t get me wrong, a huge celebration is in order any and every year that we beat them, just don’t get a tattoo of the final score on your chest. On the shirt with the scoreboard, Michigan State had to write the year that it was when they actually beat us, like they are going to have to count backward to it in the future to figure out how many years it took to beat Michigan the next time. We will be back on the same level with OSU within the next few years and the only way to get ahead is to act like we know we’re supposed to be. Go Blue!
