All the 30GB Zunes in the world are toast. Well, probably. At least there's no solution yet. But if they are all gone forever, what should Microsoft give out as repayment?

Screw Zune!!! I'm getting an Archos or Cowon instead... And while I'm at it... Scre windows, lets all get linux! Yeow! Posted 12/31/2008 11:47 AMReply
As many know the RROD for the Xbox 360 is due to crappy thermal paste, a bad design to scure the heatsinks to the motherboard, and running 12v fans at 4.5v. Having done some easy fixes to get the fans to run at 12v I understand why they have them running at 4.5v. Its because they are really loud. Howeever, in their atttempt to please the public in one way they displeased the public in another.
As for the zunes I agree that its going to be very hard for microsoft to fix them without recalling them all or having peopple send them into M$ to have them open thenm up and disconnect the vbattery. Posted 12/31/2008 12:37 PMReply
