The object of bowling is simple: You take a big, heavy ball with three holes in it, toss it down an oily lane and attempt to hit as many pins as possible with a single shot. In short, it’s not rocket science, but mastering it does take some dedication and skill.

However, whether you bowl for fun or sport, the height of a thrown bowling ball should never, ever exceed knee level. Because if it does, there will almost certainly be dire consequences in the form of someone getting horribly injured or the ball causing serious property damage.

The woman in this video—henceforth referred to as the worst bowler of all-time—learned this lesson the hard way. While I admire her ability to hurl a ball through the air, I can’t help but laugh at the pipe-bursting results of her failed shot-put exercise.

‘Fail’ isn’t a strong enough word to describe this scene.
