Fashion has been known to flirt shamelessly, promiscuously pairing with art, cuisine, and now it has decided to tackle on the realm of libations.
Grey Goose and designer, Rachel Roy, have combined forces to reveal a line of cocktail dresses inspired by the spirit, purposed to be worn by spokesmodels at events. Roy, a graduate of Columbia Union College , is known for her feminine and vintage-inspired style, infused with draping layers and cinched belts. WWD is reporting that, "Grey Goose will be the official sponsor of Roy's show at New York Fashion Week in September, where the dresses - black and blue creations made from stretch wool, with a draped neckline and a cascade of fabric on the back - will make their official debut."
Fashion and alcohol, like peanut butter and chocolate, only enhance the other's ambrosial qualities. And bonus points to Roy, who ingeniously teamed up with a brand, that upon consumption of their product, her garments will only appear more and more attractive. Heeere, have another cocktail.
