My five word review? Restored my faith in Hollywood.

The Dark Knight was worth every penny of the $32 I spent on two advance IMAX tickets. I didn’t get one of the movie posters a crazed group of fans was raffling off, and the giant inflatable beach balls tossed around before the show were confiscated before they made it anywhere near my seat, but I did get to see a movie that made up for all of the terrible films that have come out this year. Watching it at 2 AM in a sold out theater with more than 700 other people who applauded every time something badass happened just made the experience that much better.

PS to any Nip/Tuck fans out there: What are the chances that the Joker’s scars were ripped off from/inspired by the carver? They’re both absolutely terrifying villains, and it wouldn't change my opinion of the movie, but Google is failing me in figuring this one out.
