Every year, the Studio 22 premiere showcases all of the big productions of the year with a formal premiere, replete with red carpet and hors d'eouvres. It usually takes forever and in years past (especially years pretty past) the movies have been largely underwhelming.

This year, things will be different. With less movies and a higher quality of film, the premiere may actually be completely enjoyable - and full disclosure, I'm not just saying that because my own film is premiering (but let's be real. I am).

Subject matter featured in the films: a gigantic CGI robot chasing Talan from Laguna Beach, a dark comedy about teen suicide, a huge Bollywood-esque fairytale, an intestine-eating little girl birthed from trees, a rap-loving bank teller, a post-apocalyptic world, among other things.

The premiere is Saturday, June 7th at 6 pm in Tech Auditorium. Tickets are $10 and available at the Norris Box Office or at the door on the day of the premiere.
