Part of the Manhattan skyline from 60-something stories up Bonus points for non-New Yorkers who can find the Empire State Building The less sexy but still nice Brooklyn skyline (I didn’t even bother taking pics of New Jersey) The majestic Statue of Liberty in the distance I thought this boat was really cool until I thought about the water it was in… Yes, I do eat/drink/sunbathe/party/live up here Actually, the grass is greener on this side of the fence

I’ve lived in my downtown summer apartment for two weeks now, and every time I go to take pictures from the roof – excuse me, solarium – it’s either pouring rain or epically foggy. I finally got a tolerably good day to go take some shots – click through and be jealous. Very jealous.

And for non-New Yorkers, that's the Brooklyn Bridge.
