The Conspiracy Theorist's Tale

The Conspiracy Theorist's Tale

Kevin Barrett calls for quiet before personally reenacting The Miller's Tale.

I love a good conspiracy theory as much as the next guy. JFK? The CIA and the Mafia. Moon landing? Never happened. But erstwhile UW lecturer Kevin Barrett's theory that 9/11 was an inside job perpetrated by the U.S. military always struck me as a little, well, out there. Factor in Barrett's consistent level of mooning for press attention, and you have a pretty good idea of why his credit with the university ran out in a pretty short period of time.

So after his exile from UW, who knew little Kevie Barrett would want to return to teach -- Canterbury Tales?

I'm sorry he didn't get the position. I was looking forward to hearing about how Canterbury Tales was authored in 1987 by Stephen King, right between Cujo and Goosebumps #2: Stay Out Of The Basement. It's only the government that would have us believe otherwise.
