It ain't New Orleans or New York. Hell, it isn't even Montreal.

But the little town of Princeton is having a jazz festival.

On September 15th, 2007, the weekend before the official start of classes, head on down to Palmer Square for some jazz and what sounds like really good food. Also, the Princeton University Jazztet (whatever the hell that is) is playing there this year for the first time.

Apparently, this is the festival's 16th year. Either they don't publicize very well, or most of Princeton's campus lives under a rock because this is the first time OTR tipsters have heard of it.

Either way, the music's free and the food sounds like it's been kicked up a few notches.
 Not your thing? Maybe next year they'll come up with something a little more Princeton, like a Popped-Collar Festival.
