UW-Madison Hater Speaks Out

State Rep. Steve Nass, longstanding critic of the University of Wisconsin, talked budgets, dead cows and Ronald Regan in a recent interview with The Badger Herald

With the '08-'09 budget nearing its fourth month in delay, college and university committee chair Nass discussed the withholding of several millions of dollars from the UW system. With the state waist-deep in a $2.2 billion debt, Nass proposes strict fiscal responsibility that would snip a serious amount of UW's funding.

This was the same guy who also said the Law School should be cut of all of its state funding.  Apparently Nass thinks that Madison has enough lawyers already?

Sure, it's always healthy to be a critic, Nass claims, but, in the end, "Life goes on."

And it sure does, Steve, except if you want to study Law in Wisconsin. Then in kind of stops.
